Caught in the darkness A shadow world I wish I had never seen Chased by demons and monsters Trapped deep inside my dreams Living a life filled with pain and fear Silently screaming though there is no one to hear Wandering aimlessly through time and space Forgetting the memories of a better place Gripped with shame and on the edge of reason I feel no need to stay yet cannot bring my self to go Seeking refuge in the madness of a monster's mind Wishing only for a moment' peace An endless journey A seemingly futile fight Forever lost in the darkness of night Yet refusing to stop until at last I find the freedom I seek

A day many years ago led a life from innocent bliss to harsh reality A moment was all it took for a world to shatter A single second carved the path for life to shred innocence without a second glance Years then pass moment by moment day by day as a life is slowly drained Violence words pain in every form no escape no way out a single soul is torn Until one day the spark returns to a soul thouht destroyed And finally with a cry in the night a simple moment of pleasure pain that life is taken back

     Glancing about in everyday life a person sees anything that they focus upon. Watching interactions among people and the way individuals act, it is possible to notice the mainstream trend. In a world where people boast of being unique, everyone tries to be the same.
